We’re fortunate to be in the heart of a thriving sustainable agriculture area, and we’re committed to sourcing all of our ingredients from trusted producers we know and who share our values of humane and environmentally sound farming practices. 

We only use ingredients deemed fit for human consumption and all of our meats are processed at the cleanest USDA facilities possible, with stringent, proactive food testing.

We partnered with expert formulators in raw nutrition, Dr. Karen Becker and renowned fresh food formulator, Steve Brown, and created recipes based on science & research. We also took into account standards set by AAFCO, NRC and European Guidelines (EU) to create formulas for optimal vitality and longevity.

We know how much your furry companions matter to you—we’ve got dogs and cats of our own, and they’re family members that we want with us for as long as possible. That’s why we prepare Raw Bistro in our own, hyper-clean production facility, where we handle every detail from product development to ingredient sourcing, ensuring our stringent food safety processes are upheld.

Raw Bistro is made for your pets by us exclusively. We don’t allow our foods to be made by anyone else. We wouldn’t have it any other way and believe you wouldn’t either.

A TRUE ROTATIONAL DIET

Dogs crave, and benefit from, variety in their diet. So, we pair each of our single-source protein entrees with a different blend of organic produce. By feeding a diverse diet you are building a more diverse gut microbiome and this has important effects on health. These may include metabolic functions, protection against pathogens, building the immune system and more. Rotate through our recipes for optimal nutrition and enjoyment!

QUALITY, SAFETY & CONTROL STANDARDS

The meats we use come exclusively from grass-fed and free-range animals raised on family farms. These animals have never been on a feedlot, or been given antibiotics or hormones. We know our producers, we’re transparent about our processes, and we ensure that all our ingredients—animal, vegetable and oils—are human grade.

Our company-owned manufacturing facility is located in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.  All of our different foods and treats are processed in small batches in our hyper-clean and well-maintained food production plant. Our facility adheres to these specific quality measures:

1. - We use only inspected, human grade ingredients from USDA facilities.
2. - We adhere to the same state and federal regulations regarding food safety for human food facilities.
3. - Our manufacturing facility is inspected by the Minnesota State Department of Agriculture and the FDA.
